My New Purchase

Got a Little Tounge Action Going On

How sweet is that

Can't say he's missing any meals :)

My new outfit from Gap that mommy couldn't resist!

Well I broke down (really, Heath gave into me), and bought a new digital camera. I can justify it to him, by telling him that these are memories I am creating of our children's lives. It seems like we are always on the go and it is always a "Kodak Moment". For example...this weekend we are off to Kansas City for a getaway. Ok, Heath and my brother-in-law Matt are taking in the Nascar Race, while my sister Quinn and her two kids, and our kids get to tag along! I told Heath it would be a great family weekend if we went with him. I don't know how much he agrees with me. We are staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. It is a family oriented lodge with an indoor water park. I can truly say, I can't wait to capture those moments with my new camera! Anyways, I took some pictures of Quin and tried to see what I could do. Remember, I am just in the beginning phase, knowing all of it's features. Of course, Quin is so photogenic, it wasn't hard. Be sure to check back for pictures of our upcoming weekend!

Our Future Football Players

Corby getting ready to tackle Hannibal player.

Corby getting a break.

Preston #20

Corby in the backfield.

Corby putting helmet back on.

Preston on the sidelines.

I can't believe our 5 & 7 year old are participating in the tackle football program! It is crazy to see them in full football gear at such a young age. I guess these days...younger the better. We are going to Center to play which is about 25 minutes away. They do not have a 1st & 2nd grade league in Monroe City. They let Preston move up to play with this league since they needed extra players. Corby has done quite well in his first 2 games and has made several tackles! Preston takes full advantage of the water cooler on the sidelines, usually needing to use the facilities once during the game. Preston is #20 and Corby is #31. Their team is now 1-1.

Our First Illness...

Our poor little baby came down with the croup! He went to the dr. 2 days in a row and they finally put him on steriods 3x day for 3 days. He is doing much better. Luckily he slept all through the night and is back to eating his normal bottle! Thank goodness for all of us! He is still the sweetest little thing, even when he felt miserable.

Cousins Come For Visit

Couldn't resist getting the toes!

Preston loves his baseball!

Grandy gets in on the baseball action!

Aren't they beautiful!

Stop and Smell the last days of summer

What a cute cousin picture!

We were blessed tonight to watch my nieces, Sydney and Chloe, while Matt and Quinn had a "date night" at the Pear Tree Restaurant. I couldn't pass up taking pictures of the cousins all together. We've been enjoying these last few days of summer we have been experiencing . Preston will take any opportunity to get his glove and baseball and play with Grandy.

2 Months Old

Look how fast time flies! Where have the past 2 months gone....we are so blessed with such a good baby! He is almost sleeping through the night, usually only waking once between 4-5am! He eats his 4 oz. and is quickly back to sleep. We couldn't have asked for a better baby!

He is filling out so fast in his little cheeks!

So hard to believe that our little boy is now 2 months old. He is really starting to develop a personality and is quite the charmer already with his HUGE SMILE! He has brought so much joy to our lives. We really don't remember what it was like without him! Life is so precious with him!

Our Fall Obsession....

Yeah! We Won! Grandy is Power Walking with his 2 Tiger Fans Corby & Preston! It was a nice fall day for a Mizzou Victory!

Enjoying our first MU home football game. Conner taking in the Kettle Corn...a Palmer Favorite!

Well I looked at my friend Dawn's blog page today...and I thought what an awesome idea! I'm always downloading pictures and sending to everyone, so here is an easy way to keep everyone updated on the "Chaotic Lives of the Eckler Family"....oh and not too mention my extended family! They joke with me after every family event, how quick the pictures will be sent to them! Well I hope everyone will enjoy my blog page as much as I will creating it! Thanks Dawn for a wonderful idea!
